Hey everyone,
I’m looking for stories that are excruciatingly detailed. Instead of just finding randomly perfect shelters and caches of materials, how do the protagonists strategize and make use of the world?
And more importantly than the world itself, I’d like it if the characters are also normal people (for their setting) and live using their knowledge instead of vibes, miracles, and chosen one antics.
I think Earth in Interstellar is the closest i know of to this vibe. The Martian isn’t post-apocalyptic but that vein of detailed science/survival is what I’m looking for too
