Hi
I (46f) am going on holidays in a few weeks with my mam (72f) and sister (45f). I'm from South Wales but live in Dorset.
We all have very different idea of a week in Majorca together as we've not done it since I was around 14. My stepdad died in March so we're going to one of their regular hotels where they have friends on what would have been his 80th birthday.
My sister loves to shop, doesn't really drink. Mam will chill but likes her usual routine of lunchtime quiz etc. I'm going to completely relax and be poolside with a book as much as possible. We're all happy to do our own thing.
It'll get tense I'm sure as we're sharing a room but we're there to support Mam so I'll do what she wants most of the time.
Anyway. Its been a while since I've had a break without my husband and sons so I want sone good books. I'm a quick reader and one I start I can't put it down.
