My mom’s 65th birthday is coming up and she has kind of resigned herself to the fact that she’s “old”. She doesn’t have much spark or purpose and she spends a lot of time worrying over things that aren’t really a big deal . I wish she could see that her mindset is what’s making her feel old and with a shift in perspective she could enjoy many wonderful joy-filled years. I just wish she could find some happiness.

I know one book probably won’t change an entire personality, but I’d love to give her something to read that could inspire her and teach her how to embrace the joy of aging.

I stumbled upon “The Well-Lived Life” by Gladys McGarey and it seems like a good fit. Looking for any other recommendations with a similar vibe.

    Thanks for your ideas!
