I haven’t enjoyed a single romance book in almost 2 years. Books where the romance is the main plot aren’t usually my favourite to be fair but I have enjoyed them before as a nice easy read but I’m so sick of seeing copy paste male leads. They’re all usually super sexy and built somehow and EVERYONE wants them and they’re so rich and oo ahh but they’re broody and angry and just soooo boring. Their personalities are typically equivalent to a wet rag being obsessed w the female lead (for no reason somehow they’re just down had right away) like go be horny elsewhere. So please if anyone can recommend a romance book that’s preferably not smutty where the male lead is more soft and gentle and has an actual likeable personality.
