Was there a book that made you laugh out loud? Made you chortle? I want to know! I feel like many suggestions here (while great suggestions!) tend to lean more into the serious nature, and I'm wanting to have a fun time reading something new. Children's books aside, but any other genre is welcomed!

If you like a more dry humor, Patrick McManus is known for his short stories about the outdoors such as Real Ponies Don’t Go Oink. He also does a humorous crime series about an Idaho Sheriff named Bo Tully. The first book in that series is The Blight Way.
Starter Villain by John Scalzi
Lamb by Christopher Moore had me in stitches
Fannie Flagg’s books have a lot of moments where I burst out in giggles. “The secret’s in the sauce” 😉
The Jeeves and Wooster books and stories by P.G. Wodehouse are great for that too, especially if you’re a fan of shows like Downton Abbey. There’s a lot of “upper class twits of the year” in Wodehouse’s works lol.
