For some reason ever since I’ve gotten back into reading after several years, every fiction book that I pick up I seem to hate. I never seem to have this problem much with non fiction tho. I have adhd so I get bored of things really easily and have a short attention span. I always give books a fair chance before quitting them. To give you guys an idea of what to suggest me I absolutely loved the anime attack on titan, and death note. I also absolutely adored the show degrassi: the next generation. For movies I really enjoyed Wonder and Flipped, I loved the wholesomeness of those stories. I love stories that are very character cantered that have great character growth and development I also love seeing different relationships between characters (platonic, romantic etc.) I believe this genre in shows and movies is called drama. I would also appreciate something fast paced with a good plot in general as well.
