so, my most recent reads were a thousand splendid suns and the kite runner. both are heavy reads, but i loved them so much. now in the mood for something lighter, possibly a romance. the thing about popular romance books is that i find them a bit over the top. i dont want a the whole world is conspiring for them to be next to each other situation (i will never recover from when an entire lecture hall had no empty seats but the mmc’s lap in the love hypothesis i dont want that vibe at all). maybe a bit of angst where they fall apart or something then make up later (or like right person wrong time or something). reddit, do your magic.
