Hello, I’ve recently gotten back into reading (on a Kindle) and I’ve already finished:
- "El Gallo de Oro" by Juan Rulfo
- "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy
- "The Metamorphosis" by Kafka
I’m currently reading "The Death of Ivan Ilyich" by Tolstoy.
As you might notice, there’s a certain pattern in my interests. They are relatively short existentialist narratives. I would love it if you could guide me toward contemporary authors with works of similar length. Thank you very much.
