I love The Godfather, and recently, what with renewed interest in GTA and the announcement of the next Mafia game, I think I'm ready for another similar work, preferably by Puzo.
I want something that matches the tone of The Godfather, and has a similar plot. I read on Wikipedia that he considered The Fortunate Pilgrim his finest, but I don't know if it features the mob. I want something with a heavy focus on crime and a similar drama to what I read in The Godfather.
Ideas?
