I'm looking for a book for my partner who just lost his father.
We did a quick google search but only found either therapy books or novels that seemed really depressing.
Anyone has suggestions for a book that helps you process grief, in a light and hopeful way?
He generally likes "spiritual journey" type books, like Siddhartha, Life of Pie or the Alchemist.

This is not a book, but I recommend reading Anderson Cooper’s, Stephen Colbert, and Michael Lewis’ thoughts on grief. They all come away from it seeing it as a sort of gift. They aren’t glad that death happened, but they recognize they couldn’t live the life they have without it.
Maybe “A Grief Observed” by C.S Lewis although it’s going to be a bit heavy on the faith portion. For more of a journey book maybe “A Man Called Ove” by Fredrik Backman.
