Help me get back to reading.
I’ve enjoyed books about people who either go insane or books that make you think about human behavior like:
I who have never known men,
Crime and punishment,
The brothers karamazov,
The eyes are the best part and
The ones who walk away from omelas

The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro
This one feels more like an autobiography than a fiction book. It feels real. Fascinating, subtle and very skilfully done character study.
Hidden Valley Road
About an American family with 12 children, 6 of whom and up with schizophrenia. There’s also a tv series on it now.
The Plague by Albert Camus
Solaris by Stanisław Lem
