In a few weeks I will be traveling through El Salvador and Honduras. I would like a good book to read while I am there that will give me some insight into the people, culture, or history of that area. I am open to fiction or non-fiction, as long as it's a compelling story. I do not want to read anything about cartels, drugs, crime, violence, or any of the stereotypical things that Americans associate with that region.
