A book like The Disabled Tyrants Beloved Pet Fish 😅

I bought this series as a silly novelty and wasn’t expecting to actually enjoy it but now I’m madly in love lol.

Some of the aspects that I’m looking for in another book would be:

1. The humour and ridiculousness of the plot.
2. The really wholesome romance where nothing ever really goes wrong.
3. The fact that all the plot points resolve without really becoming an issue.
4. Takes place in historical China.

It doesn’t have to be a BL. I also don’t necessarily expect it to encompass all of those features (that would be asking a lot)😅

I mostly just want a really silly comedic book with a romance where nothing really goes wrong.

Secondary to my main request I also appreciate any books that take place in historical China. So far I’ve read Empress by Shan Sha, Lady Tan’s Circle of Women by Lisa See, and a lot of Amy Tan (who is my favourite author). So any recommendations along those lines are also appreciated 🙂
