Looking for fiction books about estrangement (from the child/adult child’s perspective).

I'm estranged from my parents (mostly my dad, but my mom enables so her, too) and I've read a lot of nonfiction books about estrangement (moreso in the self-help category). I'm wondering if there are any good fiction books that deal with estrangement, particularly intentional estrangement initiated by the child . I know this is a pretty specific request so also open to even tangentially related topics!

Note: Prefer that the book doesn't end up with the protagonist deciding to forgive and forget and end the estrangement. I'm looking more for characters who deal with estrangement, how they live with it, exploration of it, etc.
