Hello fellow readers.
I’m just 3 books from the end of my 2023 reading list and I’m now looking ahead to the 2024 list. I’ve got a few books I plan to read next year but there is a lot of space to add more. So I’d like some books that fit the below descriptions.
A book that is funny, really makes you laugh and keeps you in good spirits.
A horror book, but a truly disturbing horror. Something that makes your skin crawl, like tender is the flesh but scarier.
A crime/mystery book, something a bit Sherlock.
A history book, the best book about acertain part of history that you’ve read. Anything from the Egyptians, or the world wars or even Ghengis Kahn.
An adventure book, either about travelling or heading off to new places. Perhaps an account of climbing a mountain or something.
A book set in Space, be it on a space station or another planet.
An autobiography that still lives in your head rent free, that you’d highly recommend.
A Christmas book, something a bit festive and magical.
A fantasy adventure book, something like Brandon Sanderson or Terry Pratchett.
A romance novel, but not something that’s awfully written like 50 shades.
A book set in Japan. Something along the lines of Samurai, Edo etc.
And a recommendation of the worst book you’ve ever read. Something you genuinely struggled to get through.
Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
