Looking for a great adventure book “Ranger’s apprentice spoilers”

Hey I’ve been having a lot of nostalgia latley regarding one of my favorite childhood books called Ranger’s apprentice.
Especially book 2 ’til 4 where you follow the protag. Will into a world that is so different from his own world, where enemies becomes allies, and naive Horace get’s to see a world outside from his safe kingdom. You follow theese characters as you a reader into the unknown and I guess grow and learn together with the character about the depths of thier society and worldbuilding.

TLDR: Looking for an adventure where you grow with the character where the protags worldview is questioned. It doesen’t necessarly have to be medieval fantasy, but can also be a historical fiction or something else.
