Hello! Im looking for descriptive body horror literature in the same vein as Nick Cutter. I especially loved the parts in "The Troop" where it read like a scientific report and i love how anatomical he is when describing whats going on.
Okay I don’t know if this is as detailed as you’d like but Helpmeet has some of the most intensely and intensely described body horror I have ever read.

American Psycho would be a great choice. It’s told in the first person by a wealthy investment banker who doubles as a serial killer. He’s intelligent and academic, and weird. For example, one chapter will be about a graphic murder, and the next will be about why he likes Huey Lewis and the News.
Edit: reading this book was a weird experience because Patrick’s thought process is so strange; at the beginning it took me forever to get through even one page. By the middle of the book I realized that I was flying through it, because I understood him.
