Currently reading Bright Young Women and really enjoying it. I haven’t felt this eager to read in a long time. I can’t put my finger on it but there is a level of complexity to the characters and storyline that pulls me in and makes me feel more invested. I’ve been in a reading slump and feel like many of the thrillers or mysteries that I hear of being very good end up not being very good to me, and feel predictable or fall flat of having much of a real storyline. Does that make sense? Idk the proper terminology so just doing my best to explain what I think I feel. Anyhow TLDR; I would love suggestions for books that feel and are written similarly to Bright Young Women!
