I’m looking for books about dealing with anger. Not “cow in the parking lot” type books that address everyday anger for situations that pass, but deeply inspiring and profound books to help deal with anger at oppression, injustice, and abuse that is ongoing and that a person can’t do anything about.

I prefer non-fiction to biography, ie, a book that references figures like Gandhi instead of straight up biographies.

How is it that some people who are unjustly convicted of a crime and put in prison, or who live under repressive totalitarian governments, can remain open-hearted and full of grace? How does anger and fear not consume them?

Do you know any books that you feel touch on these themes with insight?
