I’m 22, I tried to start reading books quite a while ago and my first proper book was Think and Grow Rich by NH.
After that I listened to 48 Laws of Power twice (while running) and that’s pretty much it. I don’t know, I cannot focus on WHAT I am reading sometimes and it messes up my whole vibe of reading.
Nowadays I have been pretty busy with work and I want to keep it that way and the time I have, I want to spend it reading books that’ll help me grow my wisdom rather than scrolling Instagram. I went for self help books initially because I really think I needed it and honestly I did understand why people read books, but its just my laziness that keeps me from reading.
One thing that I noticed is that I like cliff hangers, I don’t even watch that many movies/series because of the constant boredom, but if there are cliffhangers, I binge watch it.
So, a book with cliffhangers + material that’ll help me in improving my vocabulary might be really useful. I want to read least 2 books by September 15th (i am a slow reader)
One of my goals is to have a library for all the books that I have read!
