Hello,I want to read about women in Vedic culture like Gargi, Lopmudra,Maitri or any other such prominent figure. Any recommendation with English or Hindi as language is highly welcomed.
There are a lot of such books based on characters in Mahabharata. Kavita Kane, Devdut Pattnaik’s Sita, Chitra Banerjee’s Forest of Enchantments and Palace of Ilusions. There is also Yajnaseni (translated from Bengali), Panchali the Princess of Peace and Kaikeyi. You can also find The Liberation of Sita by Volga (translated from Telugu covers Ahalya and a few other characters), and Ahalya by Koral Dasgupta.
