Title!
I love classics and I’ve just gotten out of a slump so I’m looking for a list of classics to tackle for the time being (I’ve exhausted hopelessly romantic ya fiction 😭).
This is a list of my top 5 classics (in order) but I’d love anything romantic, psychological/introspective, mysterious or critical. Just no British literature please I can’t get through them for the life of me 💔
- Anna Karenina – all time favorite I thoroughly believe nothing can top Tolstoy’s vision in this
- Beloved – amazingly heartbreaking I loved this story and its introspection into grief
- Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde – loved the mystery and banter very fun read
- Haunting of Hill House – outside my usual niche of reading but i could not put this down (def scratched the STEM student brain in me)
- Crime and Punishment – loved the messiness and chaotic nature of the book i will definitely be looking into more Dostoyevsky
