I am leaving for Greece in a couple of days and I am totally stuck regarding what book to read for the next couple of weeks. I read mostly fiction with a couple of science and history books sprinkled around. My favorite genres are fantasy (Brandon Sanderson, Robert Jordan, Tolkien kind), science-fiction (Asimov, Herbert kind), mystery (classic Agatha Christie) and classical books (Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Pasternak). My favorite author must be Mikhail Bulgakov, but I also love Orhan Pamuk and Haruki Murakami. I want something that captures the spirit of the trip, something Mediterranean, sea stuff maybe, I am not sure. If it helps, everytime I get to the beach I feel like reading The Count of Monte Cristo.
