I normally get stuck in ready non-fiction books (a lot of Sam Kean, Brian Cox and yuval Noah Harari) but I’m going on holiday (unfortunately the only time I get a chance to read) and want to try more fiction. the last few times I went a way I read Micheal Crichton books Prey, andromeda strain and state of fear, I loved them!! But I’m also big fan of the Martian by Andy Weir, H.G. Wells and Lovecraft. I’m looking for a shortish book, can anyone suggest anything??
I know those are all over the place but don’t really know what’s worth a go, overwise I will read more non-fiction which doesn’t feel like an escape anymore
