Horror/thriler book with mistery?

I'm starting to dip my toes into horror and thriler genre and I need some good recommendations.

Supernatural or not, a good murder mistery that doubles as a horror would be much appreciated. I'm in as long as it has good and immersive writting and characters who are not walking cookie-cutter tropes. That said – bonus points if there is an isolation element like a cabin in the woods and another bonus if its a Wendigo.
