I have a good group of friends, and I just found out that almost all of them are earning almost (if not more than) double what I make.
I’ve been in the workforce for 12 years now and I have been in the same career the whole time. It’s pretty niche and I don’t think the skills would transfer to another career without starting from ground zero. Feeling like everyone has moved on while I’m stuck.
I try not to compare, being the theif of joy and all of that, but today has been hard not to. I want to provide more for my family.
If y’all have anything that you think would help I’d love to give it a chance.
