Got a nephew who absolutely loves random facts. Loves randomly spitting them out of nowhere and I think it’s great and want to nurture it. Really likes the morbid kind though and I’m not sure if that’s healthy for his age but I could be wrong. Some of the facts he liked was the one about Coca Cola containing coccaine way back and Dr Seuss cheating on his wife. I don’t think he has ever even read a doctor Seuss book. Would like a book that’s got a good mix of different kinds of facts. Been looking them up online myself but a lot of them sounded unsuitable for children. But he’s not a strong reader so maybe a comic of some kind or a graphic novel would be preferable. Maybe a book with lots of pics. Appreciate any suggestions!

    1. Any historical fiction will load his mind up . Here’s a good one The Mongoliad lots of random stuff to learn about Kubla Khan and the mongols invading Europe

    2. Any of the QI books. There’s also the TV series on the iPlayer (UK) or clips on YouTube, and the No Such Thing As A Fish podcast.

Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs by Caitlin Doughty is great, full of interesting and educational facts about dead bodies.
