Would you cut a defective page in a book ?

I bought an expensive book recently and the first page (which is completely blank by the way) was not glued right to the book and appears as coming out of the book when closed.
So would you cut this page, glue it, or keep it as it is to preserve the book quality and avoid further damage? The book is atomic habits and it’s an awesome read so far.
