I’m looking for a book that fits (or could fit in) within German Romanticism in which nature or the outdoor life plays a big role and is a large theme. I’ve been reading Goethes Life of the Young Werther and Faust (only the first part) but I’m looking for something more focussed on nature and landscapes.
With German Romanticism I mean paintings thinks like Caspar David Friedrichs and Mahler symphonies.
Bonus points for literary classics from the mentioned period!
