I got through The Martian, Project Hail Mary, Ready Player One, and The Murderbot Diaries, and now I’m hankering for more scifi with down to earth technology systems (as far as they can be considered at least) what are some good things to add to my list?

Have you read To Be Taught, If Fortunate by Becky Chambers. A shorter work but very very grounded in its space travel technology and its implications.
Micromegas is a novella deals with both sci fi and psychology.It can be finished in one sitting.
