My wifes an avid reader. I on the other hand am not. I haven't read a full book in years.
On a recent vacation, while killing time, I asked her to read some of her book aloud and she did. I got invested and it was a really fun time. We ended up discussing the book and kept reading once we got back home and finishing the book. To say we took turns reading to each other would be a stretch, she did like 90% of the reading. Regardless it was a great experience and we both enjoyed it and it was a nice bonding thing. Im looking for a book rec so we can continue this little trend.
The book was The Housemaid by Frieda McFadden. So looking for something along this line. More suspenseful and psychological with twist.
