What I am looking for is a book, preferably an audiobook, that will help me remember what it feels like to be content with the things I have and with who I am. I am not looking for a self help book or a book filled with suggestions and platitudes; more like something with a solid storyline that I can relate to. Can be fiction or non fiction.
In the past I have enjoyed reading stories of people overcoming adversity like The Sun Does Rise and A River in Darkness which made me feel grateful for my life, but that isn't really the vibe I'm looking for. I'm thinking more like Monseigneur Bienvenue in the beginning of Les Mis.
I love his character and I reread the first chapters with him in it over and over. His viewpoint on the world and how he treated people makes me want to emulate his character.
Thanks friends
