Suggest me a serious standalone SCI-Fi book

Preferably in space and based in physics and not a space fantasy, written after the year 2000 as i’ve read most of the old classics 🙂

Thanks in advance, I am in a arthur c clarkish sort of mood this summer and read a couple of new sci fi (last being Andy Weirs Hail Mary) but can’t find a really engaging book from the genre for some reason. Could be due to my poor Googling skills 🙂
