In the past month I’ve read and loved:
Severance by Ling Ma,
Leave the World Behind by Rumaan Alam,
Station Eleven by Emily St John Mandel,
The Maid by Nita Prose,
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
Right now I’m 1/3 of the way through Anxious People by Fredrik Backman and it’s moving slower than the others but I’m really enjoying it!
The genre doesn’t really matter to me as much as a good pace and a compelling story with interesting characters. I prefer to not read super long books (400+ pages) but I’m really open to anything. What do you suggest and why??
