I'm wondering if anyone has read any fiction with implicit, but maybe not necessarily explicit trans themes? I'm not picky about how the theme manifests, I.E. if it aligns more with the experiences of trans men, or trans women, or nonbinary people, etc.
I'm looking for anything that shows or implies more than it tells. Bonus points for a melancholy tone! Thanks.
