novel recommendation

it has been long time since I read a novel, and these days I am missing that but nothing of google suggestions have grabbed my attention.
I would like to read a novel with deep meaning and some sort of philosophical view, light and amusing, at the same time I don't want it to be sad or dark that will make me depressed.
