Hello book lovers!
In a few weeks, I’m driving from Denver to Georgia with my dad. We’ll be in the car for two twelve-hour days, and I need a few audiobooks to ease the journey.
The tricky thing is, my TBR list is…not exactly his style.
So, I’m looking for recommendations that will be enjoyable for both of us, and WON’T spark political conversation between us.
Any ideas for a boomer hippie-turned-libertarian (him) and an elder millenial left-of-left queer weirdo (me)?
He loved The Seamstresses of Auschwitz, and has watched Breaking Bad start to finish several times. I read a lot of different genres, although I generally stay away from classics in audiobook format. We have a common sense of humor (think Wayne’s world, parks and rec, arrested development)
I’ve got one picked out so far – Radium Girls, which is a non-fiction about factory workers in WW1.
Thanks in advance! 💜📚
