throughout my whole life of reading, i’ve never liked audiobooks. I felt like it wasn’t “real” reading, and I also thought the voices would be annoying and that I could read faster than they could read it to me but I was being an idiot! I really wanted to read a good girls guide to murder before I started the show, but the wait at my library is 22 weeks and they only have paperbacks on Amazon, which I hate. I decided to use my 1 credit and get the audiobook. at first the voices were an adjustment but soon I got used to it. and while if i were physically reading the book I could read much faster than she’s reading, I’m finishing it up sooner because I can listen to the story while doing other things whereas if I’m reading it I can’t do anything but read. I’m not gonna be an audiobook strictly girl but it’s definitely an option. I could see myself myself using more!

For what it’s worth you can also increase the listening speed
Increase playback speed. 1.3x is my sweet spot.
