I am confused about how to tackle this book (and its sequel, War and Remembrance).
My copy of The Winds of War is 888 pages long and ends with chapter 64.
My copy of War and Remembrance is 1128 pages long, starts on page 565, and begins with chapter 50.
Chapter 50 of Winds of War does not match chapter 50 in War and Remembrance. Chapter 64 of Winds of War does not match chapter 64 of War and Remembrance.
Can someone help me untangle this? (I'm trying to figure out if there is any overlap.) Does it make sense that the first book would be 888 pages and the second roughly 563 pages?
