Hello. I want to get spooked but I don't really like reading about blood everywhere. Any thrillers or psychological mysteries or horror books that can give me the spook? Thank you 🙂 by National-Yak-4772 Related: Looking for scary fiction that’s grounded in reality/could happen today Psychological thriller that’ll blow my mind Recommend me a book where a murderer hunts another murderer? Suggest me a book for a child aged 10-11, written in Mexican Spanish. What book has come close to the thrill of Dark Matter by Blake Crouch?

But it’s been a while since I read it. * Nightflyers and Other Stories by George R. R. Martin. A collection of sci fi horror, mostly the sort that create fear without blood. * The Luminous Dead by Caitlin Starling. There is death, but very little blood.

The Collector, by John Fowles.
It’s a love story. Sort of.
