I've just started getting back into reading and I've a few pages left of The Bell Jar (Sylvia Plath). Before starting the book I thought I'd really enjoy it but to be honest it took me forever to get into it… My all time favourite book is Girl, Interrupted (Susanna Kaysen) and The Bell Jar seemed like a similar vibe – but I just couldn't get into it! 🙁
Other books I enjoyed reading (I'm 16 btw): Twilight, Pride & Prejudice, Submarine, Wuthering Heights, They Both Die at the End, All the Bright Places, It's Kind of a Funny Story, and Sense & Sensibility. Books I have bought because I thought they seemed good but haven't tried yet are Jane Eyre, Crime & Punishment, and Hard Times.
I don't really know what my style is… Crime & Punishment seems like a great book so I do think I'd enjoy books like that. I am a slight fan of classics, I LOVED Pride & Prejudice, but did find it hard to read at times because of the language. I don't think I've ever read a romance book, but I think I could maybe like them? Comedies, no. Wouldn't be able to get into them. It needs to be an interesting story that I can just get into… I didn't think I'd like the Twilight books but honestly I just couldn't stop reading!
