Looking for historical fiction recommendations. I’m hoping for something set in the 1700s or 1800s. I’ve hit my limit on early 1900s/WW2 novels. I’m not too picky and it doesn’t have to be romance. I like the setting of the Outlander series but hoping for something more quickly digestible!

I recently bought an audiobook [random daily] sale title that I haven’t gotten around to yet. I bought it because I enjoy a lot of historical fiction but like you, I was looking for some different era historical fiction. This is set in what is now current day Nova Scotia in the mid 1700’s
“The Seamstress of Acadie” by Laura Frantz
