I was just wondering if anyone knows the most common sizes of plastic book protectors?
I like to keep my books in good condition, not obsessively but I like to do my best. When I take then out with me, they keep getting damaged. Walking in the rain, sitting on my car seat when I have to stop suddenly, cat knocking them over and just being banged around.
So while reading, I put my books in sleeves like this, https://bookprotectors.co.uk/products/adjustable-lyfjackets I picked up three different sizes from a bookshop a few years ago and I keep reusing them. However today I started reading a book which doesn’t fit.
I’d like to buy a bunch of covers for the most common book sizes, so I can just grab the appropriate one. I looked on the site, but there are seventy-two different sizes! Seventy-two!
Can I just buy like, the eight most common sizes, so I always have an appropriate cover available (even if it’s not an absolutly perfect fit, using a 306 cover for a 302 book etc)?
What sizes would you recommend?
