I used to love reading as a child. It was fascinating learning new words, being introduced to people I'd never meet, seeing how writers expressed deep emotions, immersed and wondering what would happen next.
I've lost that spark, and I don't know how to find books that I don't read a hundred pages of and set down. I figure this is the place.
Not to say I'm looking for books that fill me with childlike joy (for some reason one of my favourites was The Metamorphosis), I'm more interested in hearing what you enjoy and why. What books make you feel that same connection I used to have? Thank you.
