Just started to get out of my reading slump. I loved reading before when I was a young teen but those kinds of books aren’t for me anymore. Recommendations on booktok also kinda belong to that young teen fiction realm. Would really appreciate if anyone could give suggestions on books for young adults that are intellectual and still easy to read but not cringey. Can do anything from fiction to non-fiction 🙂 Thanks!

    2. You haven’t given much to go on, so I guess…. {{The Road}}, {{The Remains of the Day}}, or {{Annihilation}}.

    3. Short stories are pretty easy to read while still being intellectually engaging. Some of my favorite authors of this genre are Edgar Allan Poe, Guy de Maupassant, Gogol, or Adolfo Bécquer. Chekhov is also pretty well known for his short stories, but I personally find them a bit boring.

    4. You will like Around the World in 80 days. I got it in Kindle for free and really enjoyed reading it.
