…especially in terms of being funnier, more confident or more “well-rounded”. I started reading again after a 20 year hiatus last October. It’s been as much fun as it has been a struggle to find what I like and what could help me. See a list of the books I’ve read:

The Midnight Library – *Matt Haig*

    My Policeman – *Bethan Roberts*

Laugh Tactics: Master Conversational Humor and Be Funny On Command – *Patrick King*

    Captivate! – *Vanessa Van Edwards*

How to Win Friends and Influence People – *Dale Carnegie*

Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before? – *Julie Smith*

    Models – *Mark Manson*

The Subtle Art of How not to give a F\*\*\* – *Mark Manson*

Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents – *Lindsay C. Gibson*

The Courage to be Disliked – *Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga*

The Secret History – *Donna Tart*

    Lolita – *Vladimir Nobokov*

It Ends with Us – *Colleen Hoover*

    Playground – *Aron Beauregard*

Building a Second Brain – *Tiego Forte*

Klara and the Sun – *Kazuo Ishiguro*

The War of the Worlds – *H.G. Wells*

Lessons in Chemistry – *Bonnie Garmus*

Hyperbole and a Half – *Allie Brosh*

I have a diverse set of books sitting on my shelf, from Confederacy of Dunces to The Shining. The complete works of H.P. Lovecraft and Friedrich Nietzsche. The Body Keeps the Score and The Comic Toolbox. I’ve always loved structure, a curriculum of things I can study and learn from. With some suggestions, I’m hoping to build a set list of books to read through. Thanks to anybody who can help.
