I read The Housemaid this year and enjoyed it, but was super confused when I started reading the Last Mrs Parrish the other day and saw that it had almost identical plot points to the book. Even from switching POVs. If you’ve read both books, did you notice the similarities? Is it plagiarism? How is Frida McFadden able to publish a book so blatantly similar to another book? I would love to know people’s thoughts if you’ve read both books!
