Currently reading Project Hail Mary to the family; what should we read next?

Hello readers! My kids are 13f and 15m. I read to them and to my husband a few nights a week. Currently we are reading (and loving) Project Hail Mary. We have also recently read The Martian, and most of John Scalzi’s books.

I would like suggestions for books to read after this. Specifically, we want books that are uplifting or fun. Any genre would be great. I would also prefer that the books have been written in the last decade or two.
