Hi all, I'm looking to get more into reading since I have a lot of spare time at my current job. I really enjoy books with a lot of suspense and mystery, and I love horror. My grandpa is a huge Stephen King and Dean Koontz fan so I've read a lot of their novels and short stories but I'm looking for suggestions for lesser known writers. Maybe some hidden gems? Also, I really love stories that have a good twist ending. One of my fav book series is Odd Thomas, if that helps

Peter Straub- Ghost Story, Koko, Floating Dragon,
I’m fond of Joe Hill’s books, especially Heart-shaped Box, about a malevolent ghost seeking revenge. He also wrote a graphic novel series, Locke & Key, about a house that is haunted by a hate-filled creature tormenting a family. Good stuff. Joe Hill is Stephen King’s son, if that matters.
Try ‘The Devil Crept In’ by Ania Ahlborn for a suspenseful mystery with a twist!
