Hi all! I recently watched the film The King Tide (very fun, kinda creepy; highly recommend), and it put me in the mood for more stories about living on islands.
Would love some recommendations. Ideally, they'd be novels set sometime in the past hundred years or so and offer a convincing portrayal of a person or group of people living in the relative isolation of an island. Slight preference for more realistic stories, but I'll read anything if it's good.
